They’re designed specifically for the brutal, high-intensity heat you need to stretch PET preforms without a hitch. The nitty-gritty on power Getting your heating profile right comes down to wattage and voltage. It’s a balancing act. Our lamps are built to handle those heavy high-voltage loads so your infrared (IR) flux stays steady. When you push a high-wattage tube, you get those lightning-fast heat-up times that keep your production line humming. Just one tip: keep an eye on your power supply. If you’ve got voltage spikes bouncing around your system, they’ll eat through the filaments. It’s a quick way to kill a perfectly good lamp. Glass that actually lasts We use heavy-wall quartz glass because rapid heating and cooling is a shock to the system. Plus, we use a halogen cycle. This stops tungsten from gunking up the glass and making it cloudy. That means the heat stays clear and consistent for thousands of hours. As for the fit? We use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors. It depends on your oven, but the goal is the same: a snug fit. If a lamp is loose in the socket, you get arcing. And arcing melts your connector housing. Not a fun day for anyone.
